It has been a journey of nearly 2 y ears with the initial conceptual brainstorm discussions to the planning stages and to the implementation stages of the program. I was fortunate enough to meet a person like Sunao Fujii who was willing to start with an open mind who tris to understand the customer’s needs (especially so in terms of our distinctive Toyota Way culture). He managed to grasp in a short period of tie what took others several years, to understand the depth of our corporate culture.
